Battelle Out With A New Report….

saying that USA is lagging in Bioscience education in middle and high schools.

The report really looks at NAEP scores and other test scores.

This report also looks at state standards for bioscience which is what the report should have focused more on. That section shows very little in forced standards a student must learn for bioscience.

The problem here is unless a states forces a student to take a bioscience filled class all a student will wind up taking if forced is a basic biology class which is not going to meet what Battelle is looking for.
