has a new report out on the NCLB bill. It is a 12 state look at the NCLB bill.
The conclusion they came up with says that you need to look more at the NAEP scoring trends rather than state test scoring trends. I only agree with them to a point. I say that state scores are too high, but NAEP scores are too low.

less students in Georgia this year are going to be getting a HOPE scholarship. The new rules made grade calculations more uniform. The article states that 18,000 less high school seniors can get the money. They also stated that over a two year period that in Atlanta Georgia a 53% drop in students can get a HOPE scholarship.
