43 States Get An F Rating….
when it comes to college affordability says the latest National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education report called “Measuring Up 2006 The National Report Card On Higher Education”.
Two years ago only 36 states got an F rating.
The New York Post article on this report says that the SUNY Chancellor is not happy about this report. The Chancellor says the report badly miscaculates the NYS TAP numbers.
I would just like to say at the rate they are going all states are going to get an F rating. I would like to see in the 2008 report seperate data for in-state students when it comes to college affordability and for out-of-state students when it comes to college affordability.
