are going to get some training so they can better higher new teachers in the school system.

It is a program that has been in Carroll County school system for over a decade.  It uses one-on-one training and some home visits to get good grades.

Of Baltimore will get free tuition and free college fees.  The program cost will be around 900 thousand before federal financial aid grants are factored in.

is looking at an idea to pay teachers 5,000 more per year in the needy schools.

have released a new report giving out some educational predictions out to the year 2015.  By 2015 the population of students is going to rise by 6% to around 58 milion students.

The college population is going to rise to almost 20 million by 2105.  Biggest rise will be in the female population.

By 2015 the school teacher population is going to grow by 600,000 teachers. Student/teacher ratio is going to drop around 1.5 points.

is failing due to special-interest groups that are dominating the decisionmaking processes says the Fraser Institute. Also governance of schools is overly centralized as well.

The report does say more students are graduating high school.  Students that are homeschooled are the rise, but they can’t report any numbers due to so many parents not reporting proper information.
