with a follow-up survey on the impact of the credit crunch on student loans at independent colleges and universities. It surveyed 953 member institutions.
Some of the results:
75% of respondents saying an increase of students wanting financial aid.
67% say they have not seen a problem with enrollment due to the credit crunch.
Almost 90 percent of the 485 respondents that use private label student loans have lost lenders due to the credit crunch. 27% of those respondents have found it very hard to find someone else that will give out loan money.
