School Officals In The Dallas Area….

say that Hispanic students are becoming the dominate ethnic group in some the schools, but Hispanic teachers are a rare find.

Over 33% of the students in Dallas schools are Hispanic, but less than 10% of all teachers were Hispanic. Low college graduation rates for Hispanic students are a major cause of this problem.
I say to solve this problem we are going to have to have a teacher recruitment program in the school system for high school students.
