that if the middle school principals do not lower discipline and raise test scores their jobs are on the line.  He also sates that if test scores are not up in three to four years the district may take the step of removing the middle schools and replacing them with k-8 schools.
Last year all the middle schools had the lowest pssing rates for the ISTEP-Plus test and more than of the kids had at least one suspension for every two kids.
