California has 531 School Districts in the state. The top ten have 19% of the high school enrollment, but 36% of the dropouts. The top 50 though have 42% of the high school population and 70% of all dropouts.

California has 2,462 high schools in the state. The top 25 high schools have 3% of the high school population, but a 21% high school dropout rate. The top 100 have 11% of the high school population and 41% of the high school dropouts. The top 500 though rack up 80% of the high school dropouts.
