is out on high school dropouts. The report says that a high school dropout is over three times as likely to get arrested and eighth times more likely to go to jail than a high school graduate.

The report says that 22,864 students would not get picked up on aggravated assault charges if the high school graduation rate was increased by 10 percentage points. Over 7 grand alone would be prevented in LA alone.

The does look at drop out programs like Check & Connect for at-risk middle school and high school students that showcases some good gains in preventing high school dropouts.
