that achievement gaps in students start even before school starts.

The report says only 68% of children live in a two parent household which is down from 77% in 1980. The report also looked at other countries and the same exact thing is occurring as well.

44% of women in all races have an out-of-wedlock birth before the age of thirty. Blacks have the highest percentage at 77%. Over half of all out-of-wedlock births occur to women who have a high school diploma, GED, or less education.

When it came to Language difference at age 4 the professional family an estimated 50 million words have been addressed to the child. The working-class family had around 30 million and the welfare family had around 15 million.

At the highest social economic level 62% of parents red to them each day versus 36% for the lowest level.

The report says the lower you are on the economic scale the lower end the day care is going to be.
