Short King Middle School Rant….

The news on this middle school has made the airwaves big time. This school wants to offer the pill to students at this school.

I do not care if giving out the pills is confidential or not. This is a complete no-no. The Portland School Committee needs a new vote to change what they have done.

To me it is even too soon to be handing out drugs like this.

Under my educational plan I would like to have some sort of sex-education at the fifth or sixth grade level. At this level you need the basics of sex education covered along with the cost of raising a kid explained. Sex-ed teachers could explain where to get stuff like birth control pills, but lets save all the graphic stuff for high school.
