the National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality have released a new report on teacher satisfaction.
In this data filled report they say that elementary teachers are more satisfied as being a teacher than secondary teachers. Elementary teachers want to make this more of a lifetime career more than secondary teachers.
Over 75% of all teachers say the students are learning. 78% of secondary teachers say they are confident to teach the subject are they are teaching.
Secondary school teachers were more likely to see unmotivated students and were more likely to get lousier administrative support.
High-needs schools though got slightly less support when it came to disciplinary problems and when it came to providing adequate supplies of textbooks. High-need schools say they had way more hard to reach kids.
68% of teachers say they make a reasonable salary.
