Two New NEAP Reports Are Out….
They are both looking at 4th and 8th scores for math and reading.
When it comes to math scores scores for fourth graders are slowly moving up. Even the percentage of students in the fourth grade at the basic level is moving slowly up as well. All races looked at for fourth graders have showed score increases. The same stuff can be said of the eighth graders as well.
The reading scores at the fourth and eight grade level showcase the same trend as the math scores do. More students proficient at the basic level, more students getting better scores, etc…
Just nice slow and steady progress from both reports which is not a bad thing.
