on state exit exams is out. The report looks at the 22 states that have these exams and 4 more states that are going to have them soon.
Only a few states have End of Course exams which is the only type of exam I will accept. More states are moving towards this type of exam which is a good thing. They get into details on what5 each state uses which is a great thing.
In 2007 65% of high school students had some type of an exit exam, by 2012 the number jumps to 72%.
The states responded that these exams were mostly used to see if students meet state educational standards and were least used to see if they were college ready.
