New Report Out On Nursing Shortage….

in the California area.

The report has one great graph in it. It shows that around 28,000 applications were submitted into California Colleges for nursing programs. That does include students sending in an application to more than one college though. Around 40% though got in for training based on the graph.

I think that clearly show even with the multiple applications that California just does not have the classroom space or even enough nursing teachers to help meet the need for nurses in California.

They do showcase in a chart that around 25% take longer than 2 years to get an associates degree and around 25 do not even graduate at all.
