The G.A.O Looks At For-Profit-Colleges…

The new report looks a 15 for-profit-schools. They found that 4 colleges encouraged fraudulent practices and that all 15 made deceptive or otherwise questionable statements to GAO’s undercover applicants.

Deceptions included lying on the FAFSA form and lying about how much money you can make per year after you get the degree.

They also looked at the prices for going to a for-profit school and found the for profit school to be higher priced, but in most cases they were SUPER high priced compared to not-profit colleges.
