that looked at only sixth graders in North Carolina found out that sixth grades in a regular middle school setting, different teachers for each class, have lower test scores and more disciplinary problems then sixth grade students in an elementary setting.

It would be nice if the same researches could look at some other states as well and see if this same conclusion be replicated. This is a very interesting study. You are going to have to move them into classes with different teachers at some point of time, when I do not fully know.
