has out a new study on looking at parents and what they want for schools in the local school district.

62% of parents says they have looked at sending their kid to a charter, catholic, or private school.

90% of parents who have a kid in a charter school give the school good or excellent ratings. 92% said the same thing for a catholic school.

72% of the people though still say they do not have enough good choices in picking a school.

The report does show that charter schools in the local school district are gaining pig time in population. They did show charter school students doing a few percentage points better in math and reading on state exams.
