America’s Perfect Storm Report….

The report comes out from the Educational Testing Service. The report talks about three forces that combined will cause even greater levels in wage disparity, less prepared workforce, and increasing political polarization.

The first force they list is the disparity in literacy and numeracy skills. They showcase a lot of stats that back that up. The second force this list is the massive change in the labor force over the past few decades. The third force they list is going to be the demographic problem that is going to occur as more the population moves into retirement.

I will agree with them though. Fixing the educational system is only going to help fix this economy in the long run.
