on school children.  Data used in this survey was collected in 2003.

A few stat highlights:

They say that 75% of 12-17 year olds are at the right grade for them which is up from 69% in 1994.

10.7 million kids live in families with incomes under 1500 bucks a month.

41% of students though are on the federally assisted school lunch program.
