The Center On Education Policy Is Out With….
a new report looking at accountability rules in a pilot program under the No Child Left Behind Bill. The states looked at are Georgia, Ohio, Maryland, and New York.
Each state has different rules as to what happens to a school that misses AYP goals multiple years in a row. They all different from what they had in the past.
All four states have changed labels for what is a struggling school as well.
The report does get into detail on each of these four systems.
