on the UC Board of Regents that has cut over 800 million, but have given out some executive people a higher salary. Officials at the university say the execs are taking on more responsibilities and deserve more pay.

This JUST REEKS… If a UC campus dumps a bunch of janitors you have less janitors to clean up the campus. That gives them expanded duties, but you do not hear of them getting a pay raise though???
