For students aged 9 in math in years 1999-2004 the gap between the black and white students has slowly dropped. Same thing occurs at age 13.

For math at grade four and grade 8 from the years of 2000-2007 the gap between the black and white students has also dropped.

For reading the same thing occurs, but the gap closes in at a much smaller rate.
