says that around a 3.2 million college students have taken at least one college course online. An increase of 850,000 students from the previous year. About 62 percent of chief academic officers say that taking a class online is just as good as going to a face-face ones.

The report does give out four different class classifications used in this study.

I like online classes, but for some majors such as Nursing and other Science lab filled ones I do not like online classes.
