out with another study looking at the No Child Left Bill. This report finds that a school in one state could wind up as a failure, but stick that same school in another state and they would wind up passing.

For the study they used 28 states and 36 real schools.

One school they pointed out in the report is Clarkson Elementary School. Out of the 28 states they looked at the school would have met AYP goals in 8 states and almost made them in 4 other states.

That same school had around 18% of the student proficient in South Carolina, but a whopping 85% proficient in Colorado.

I fully agree with this report. What good is AYP standards if all states have different ones.
