State policymakers in Alabama, Kentucky, and Tennessee….

have moved in the past few months to force colleges with programs that create prinicpals to agree to new standards or shut down the programs.  The states of Iowa and Louisiana have already shut down a few programs.

I guess those states saw the Arthur Levine report on Educating Leaders that blasted programs that created principals.
