with a report looking at test scores of low income students at the two largest school districts in North Carolina. Both of the school districts have different approaches to how to seat these students.

They found that the test scores were slightly higher in Wake than in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, but Charlotte-Mecklenburg had more low income students.

The LA Times reports on this new online university that is opening up with a very low cost of tuition. All you pay in an enrollment fee and the cost of the exam.

The college only has tow majors at this point of time and unless it gets fully credited like a real university it will be certainly something I would stay away from.

The New York Times reports on a change in how the federal government is going to loan money out to college students.

The other article is an AP article saying that Obama is going to index the Pell Grant to inflation and Obama is seeking an end to government guaranteed loans.

This idea has to be a standard in every single state in the USA to have at least one no frills college in the state.
