The Washington Post looks at schools in the area that are using this program to teach reading skills to students. The article says that in a study of 12 Loudoun schools looking at only first grade students only showed that about 88 percent met targets in a statewide literacy test last year, compared with 74 percent three years earlier.

The Philadelphia Inquirer looks at this school that is 53rd ranked in nation according to the US News & World Report. The article does include a 3 minute video to look at.
The article says that over 1,500 sent in applications to just try to get into the fifth grade and around 150 got in.
