The Students In Detroit….

are supposed to be in classes on Tuesday, but no contract has been reached.  All the teachers on Tuesday may not show up though.
If no deal is reached by Monday at 6PM the Gov. is going to set up a fact finding mission on the finances of the school district.

Salary Is a Major Problem….

A Microsoft Designed….

school is opening up in the state of Pennslyvania. The Philadelphia School District ate the 63 million dollar cost to create the school, but the company shared personnel and management skills. 170 teens will be first to try out this school and they plan to have as many as 750 students in the school.

The school starts at 9:15AM and finished at 4:19PM.

Students in the school use laptops instead of books and teachers use smartboards instead of blackboards.

Students In The State Of Minnesota…..

will be able to take the Basic Standards Test for reading again due to questions from the practice exams being on the test students took in July.
