The Des Moines Register reports on a summer school for middle school students.  It Includes a couple hour of classes, field trips, and recreation time.   Grades are up for Students that use this program.

They want to spend 100 million on vouchers says CNN and the AP.

With the recent NCES report saying that private schools are not really doing better than public I wonder why they really want to spend the money.
