The article from the Hartford Courant is mainly on Alicia Vose who is from Maine. She goes to the University of Connecuit, pays an out-of-state rate, and is going to pay an extra $2,800 to go school next year. This summer she plans to work 60 hours a week to try to offset costs.
Her total debt at this point of time is around 40 grand which is around twice the average debt graduates from college with.
