out with a new report looking at college graduation rates for Hispanic students at colleges.
They found for every single type of college they looked at Hispanic students graduated college at a lower level than white students. At the lowest levels of colleges they looked at though found more Hispanic students going to those types of colleges. They also found some massive differences from the worst 10 schools to the best 10 schools in graduation rates in a most of the college levels they looked at.

out with a new report looking at if their is an educational achievement difference between boys and girls.
With a look at 2008 data they found that the girls were better than boys at all three levels they looked at. When it came to math the scores were pretty much even between boys and the girls.

The Arizona Republic reports on a bill in Arizona that would allow teachers to carry guns.
The Hartford Courant reports on 13-year-old UConn Student Colin Carlson claiming bias after being denied trip abroad.. The article says his mother would pay her own costs to chaperon the trip.
USA Today has an article up on weather schools must change how writing teachers are taught.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports on community college students that are missing out on lots of money for college.

The Christian Science Monitor reports on the plan by Obama to fix the educational system getting flak from both parties.
The Post Dispatch reports on the lawmakers in Missouri who would like to see some oversight in any money they get for education from the federal government.
