is out from the Education Week.

They are saying that the high school graduation rate is 69.2% but in the 2005-2006 school year a decline has occurred in the graduation rate.

They also say that for the class of 2009 they expect around 1.3 Million students to drop out of school or roughly 7,200 a day.

is out with a survey mainly looking at high school students and college preferences.

The results says that 71% of respondents say that high school students are dumping their dream school for a cheaper alternative. 60% say they are seeing an increase in students planning to go to a public school vrs a private one. 37% say they are seeing an increase in students planning to go to a community college vrs a four year schools. 40% say they are seeing increases in the amount of college applications a high school student is sending out.

The AP reports on a draft budget for the University if Michigan with only a 3% increase in tuition.

The Baltimore Sun reports on the Naval Academy seeing a rise in minority enrollment.

The University of Michigan-Flint has signed a deal with the American College of Dubai so that students at the American College of Dubai can transfer up to 33 credit hours to the University of Michigan-Flint.
