For reading and for math in the proficient and above level, elementary and middle schools across the USA saw mostly slight gains or moderate to large gains. At the high school level those types of gains were harder to come by.
At the basic and above level for math and reading big gains were harder to come by across the USA for all levels.
At the advanced level math saw solid gains in the elementary and middle school level, bu not so hot at the high school level. Read was good in elementary and middle schools, but not so hot at the high school level.
