Lipscomb University is going to allow students in some majors to complete college in three years. This will help save the student 10 grand in tuition.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports that almost 20 percent of graduate programs at Tennessee colleges and universities are duplicates. The duplicate programs could merge or get thrown out. A video is also included.

Some of the results are:

84% now have at least one credit card, up from 76% in 2004. Around half have four or more cards.

The average debt is now $3,173 and 21% of people they looked at have 3000-7000 in credit card debt.
