They found positive effects for students in charter schools at the middle school and high school grade levels. They did find less positive effects for students in pilot schools though.

From the report 36% of freshman discussed politics which is a record.
49% though are needing to have a job in order to pay for college which is a new record.
61% said that they are going to their first choice school which is a new 34 year low.

on leading education officials proposing that some no-frills colleges be created in Pennsylvania to help lower education costs. These colleges would have no sport teams, no super gymnasium, and no special dorm room.
I love this idea.
