California Dropout Research Project With….

a short brief looking at California high school dropouts from the class of 2004.

The found that two years later 12% of them were back in school, 54% were working, while 34% were not doing either one of the two.

They also found that only 24% of the high school dropouts made it college. Out of that 24%, 14% of them dropped out, 9% were still in college, and only 1% got a college degree.

The report says that the amount of schools in the restructuring phase has jumped big time. They also found that the turnaround specialist option is fading for fixing a school.

that the Harvard Endowment has grown to almost 37 billion bucks now. The article says that the stock portfolio portion lost 12.7% while the tradeable commodities was up 35.8% for the year.
