last night in my area. It was a one-hour look at the USA educational system. The whole show along with a whole bunch of extra can viewed online.

In one hour this show hosted by Judy Woodruff looked at many different things facing the USA educational system. To me it was good look, but you have so many other topics you can discuss which you can’t fit in one full hour.

Topics looked at are teacher preparation, testing, pay, STEM schools, rural schools, and AP classes. One state they focused on was Ohio. They looked at two different school. One was a rural school that has poor science equipment, but a class to teach the Chinese language. The other school was a top of the line new school in a growing area in Ohio.

They did list good amount of data throughout the show and did not overload it with data.

I say this is a must see show.

Special features at the website includes extra video including parts of a round table discussion on the USA educational system, what the presidential candidates wants to do to change the educational system, and some articles to look at.
