New D.C. Schools Pay Plan….
would give teachers a major boost in salary, but they have to relinquish their seniority and also risk dismissal by spending a year on probation. Private foundations would help with the pay increases.
Various plans are discussed and a teacher with as little as five years experience can make 100 grand or more under some of the proposals.
