a report out saying that all the cramming done for the ACT exam does no good for test scores. The average ACT scores for all Chicago Public School Students is below the state average for all tests listed.

They did list some data showing that students in ACT prep classes outside of regular school hours did slightly better than students who did not. Schools where many students took an ACT prep class did not do any better than schools that had few students taking ACT prep classes.

The report even includes sample questions.
