Oregon dependents of U.S. veterans killed or disabled since Sept. 11, 2001 in connection with military duty a tuition waiver so they can go to any of the seven state colleges in the state. The article says that in a rough estimate only 18 people are eligible for this waiver.

is going to be voting on a bill that will make it easier for teachers in the state to get bonus money. The state is looking to eliminate the results of several new exams expected to have low passing rates when determining who gets bonus bucks.
