The Washington Post reports on this high school that is first in the nation to force all students at the school to take AP English. The article did say last year only 3 out of 226 students passed the AP English exam.
I wonder what grades these students were getting during the school year.

by the New York Times. One gift looked at is a 2 million dollar gift by Stanley J. Seeger for some Greek classes at Princeton University. The money can only be spent on Greek stuff and has grown to 33 million bucks.
I really think that colleges need to set some limits so that if the quirky gift amount goes too high the money can be used for other classes or buildings.
