To me this ruling got way out of hand. I will agree that Mary Long is following state rules when it comes to home schooling the kids. I do not mind the judges ruling saying that the two kids aged 7 and 9 need to go to public school to get away from the abusive father and I am fully assuming that he was abusive here, BUTTT to throw in the extra verdict that all home school teachers need a teaching credential in California before they can home school a kid just went to far.
