They say that fall 2005 second-yea retention rates are 16th in the nation for four-year schools while at two-year schools they are 33rd.
For a four-year graduation rate they come in 21st while they come in 18th when it moves up to a six-year graduation rate.
They say that a slim majority of whites an Hispanics attend mainly four-year schools while a slim majority of blacks attended two-year schools. Whites were more likely to graduate with a college degree in six years.
When it came to costs they had tuition that was twice as much as the national average.
