that 990 institutions have racked up 2,300 federal government earmarks totaling around 2.3 billion. They even include a link to look at all of the earmarks.

A quick Look at the list of colleges that received some earmarks included Harvard, Syracuse University, Yale, Columbia, Duke. All of these colleges made the NACUBO list for having billion dollar college endowments.

that schools that make into the NCAA mens basketball tournament do see a rise in applications to the schools. Champion schools see an 8% raise in applications.

Short AP Report Says….

that a bill is working its way though the Oaklahoma Legislature. If the bill is passed it will allow the people that go through the Teach For America program to teach in low-income schools.

Also in another AP report lawmakers in the state want a longer school year for the students as well.
