on how students are doing with AP classes.
The report shows that over 15% of students scored 3+ points on an AP exam. Record amounts of students are taking exams, but racial gaps still remain. The only exam I saw with fewer students taking an exam in 2007 vrs 2006 was the Spanish exam.

are not happy that the state is dumping the IMAGE(Illinois Measure of Annual Growth in English) exam. The state is replacing it with the traditional (ISAT)Illinois Standards Achievement Test in elementary school and the (PSAE)Prairie State Achievement Exam in high school.
The Chicago Sun-Times also reports on this as well.
