The Arizona Republic reports that a committee for this school district has mapped out new k-8 boundaries that would effect around 3 thousand students.

Building A Better Teacher Report From Edutopia…..

This is certainly a must see link if you are ever thinking about go to college to become a teacher.

The report looks at 10 colleges including Emporia State University, Stanford University, and Michigan State University. The report showcases hoe each college produces great teachers.

A couple of the colleges they look at have audio or video to listen to. That is nice, but would have been really great if all of them had something like that to look at.

We need more colleges to do programs like this so we do not let potential teachers down and the students he or she is going to teach.

at college football coaches and the salary that they make. They say that average salary for all the coaches have passed the 1 million mark for the first time ever. 50 of them now make over 1 million bucks a year.

I do not like this trend at all. Coaches are making more and more salary, but not all the students on these teams are getting a free ride to go to school.

College needs to be about academics first, then it can be about the sports.
