going to be looking at a proposal next month that is going to call for students who need remedial classes to wind up going to a Texas community college first before winding up going to 4-year college and university in the state.

Although taking remedial classes at a community college is cheaper it would be better for the state to offer remedial classes at 4-year college and university in the state at community college prices.

I am not a fan of this at all. A trip to a local museum can be a great learning experience. I have posted though on schools doing in class field trips.
