so that low income students in Wisconsin can have some money to go to college. The grants will total 1 grand to five grand a person and it supposed to help 3,000 people a year. One student can get this money for up to 10 semesters.

University Of Pennsylvania Offer Up More Financial….

aid to students. In the fall of 2008 all families making 100 grand or less will get grants instead of loans. Those families making over 100 grand will get a 10% reduction in loans. The article says that 458 students already get helped with families making 60 grand or less. By the 2009-2010 school year the new plan will help around 4,000 students.
