They also talk about Virginia Tech where they have an introductory math class where students just sit at computer desks and do math problems. If they need help they flip over a red plastic cup to get the attention of helpers—upperclassmen, graduate students or professional staff—come by.
Large class sizes imo are a complete no-no. They only hurt graduation rates.
